Default Elf Excellium - Group Buy(Sydney)

I'm ordering some Elf Excellium oil...

I can only get it in 6x4Lt lots for $240.
Thats $10 per litre for fully synthetic oil thats the ducks guts!!!
I'm gonna basically order 24lt for myself, but if you guys want some contact me ASAP, as we can split the frieght.

This oil is superb, hard to find & if you do it'll be about $20 per litre!

    Thanks Alan S!

Good work, Nate. This is a top quality oil. Here are some documents from a mate on PF.

Nice one Linc, anyone also got "reliable" links to some ratings of the top oils?
i.e. which professionals rate which oil over another?

www.bobistheoilguy.com is prety much the definitive site for oil information. There's lot of analysis information up there.

Nate, what viscosity rating is the one you are getting?

I'm interested but the only problem is I'm in Adelaide.

Alan S, can you do the same price for me down here? I'll ask around to see if anyone else down here is interested; though if the oil is that good (and according to Lincoln's file, all the Elf Excelliums tested much better than the Mobil1 5W50 that I am currently using, and which costs me more than $10/Lt) I'll be interested in buying 24 Lt for myself too.

    cheers,
    Jude

The grade is: 5W 40, the only one he carries.

The price is the same, but the shipping is different. If we can all get them together it'll be heaps cheaper (even thou ur in Adelaide).

So far no one wants any, so its only me!
Shipping to Syd via TNT is: $39 + gst for 1 load.

    i'm ordering on Friday!!!

This is a deal I organised through the Total distributor. If you contact Nate & ask him to forward on contact details as I sent to him as I'm a bit busy to chase them up at present.
the only thing you must oorganise is payment & freight which in some cases can be a killer but wortyhy of investigation.
These guys have sent stuff all over Australia and it is available to anyone on Aussiefrogs or the Cit bulletin board.

If it ain't broke, use a 12" shifter.....that usually does the trick!!

Oh..I thought that $240 for 6x4 lt is as cheap as it gets??

I'll make a post in another thread to see if anyone else from Adelaide is also interested.

btw do you know of any other freight options besides TNT. I'm assuming normal post should be significantly cheaper even if it takes longer to deliver, don't know for sure??

    Alan,
Thanks for that! It does sound like a fantastic deal.

    cheers,

Is this site unbiased? He has an order form on his front page for Amsoil and Mobil products. I have a major problem with this........

Some of the contributors are Amsoil distributors, and are indicated as such. There is still a lot of quality information there on independent tests with a lot of knowledge on how to intepret the data. I don't see a conflict of interest there and I've read that site for quite a while.

Ahh I couldn't get off my butt in time. No worries Nate. Could you please send me the details of the distributor so I could order some in later.

    cheers,
