    Default R8 G Booster internals.

    Hi All,

Would anybody have experience or literature on the remote brake booster of a Gordini?

I would like to do a service/repair on mine before I put it back into operation as I bypassed it some time ago when I suspected that it caused the pedal to drop to the floor. Are there any seals inside that would need replacement?

    Regards. Frans

I found a lot in my workshop manual (DUH) should've had a look before the time. But it would still be good if some tips from your experience good be had. Thanks.

    Old enough to know better
Young enough to do it anyway.

This is for a vh44, but should give you an idea.

Interesting. I have always subscribed to the view that the system is better without the booster. (Yes you do have to push but an unboosted system is easier to modulate in threshold braking in slippery conditions.)

    YMMV Peter
