    Default 406 HDi no power

    G'day,

I have a 406 HDi, and the driving feels like there is no turbo boost. Revs out, but no power. The turbo is producing boost and have swapped the boost pressure sensor, but no difference.
Rather than start a long and confusing debug, first if there any other that have experienced this issue and have a fix?

    Garry

Does it have the RHH diesel?. If so, make sure you have vacuum at the electrovalves at the back of the motor.
These feed theTURBO/ EGR/DOSER VALVE and is so important in the function of this motor.
How many Km has the car done.

Nope. Cleaned the sensor. No difference. Next is to investigate the vacuum system.

It's his car now. Lillian also has a 406 HDi. I have a 406 HDi station wagon, plus a wreak with my brother for parts. So I'm fairly committed to them!!!
Got my plane. I'll drop in soon and say hello.

    Found issues.
The Station Wagon Hdi just was dirty. Can of spray and the power came back.
The Sedan, is REALLY dirty, but more of a concern is why. Large amounts of blow by depositing oil in the intake system. Prob broken ring. Have a spare engine, just that it a 1000 km away. Road trip!!

Blocked off EGR valve. Power returned.
    Lesson learnt.
