    Default AL4 finger slicer

Hi Froggers, just a quick post to remind whoever is removing valve blocks from housing on Al4 transmissions, it is very easy to cut DEEPLY the top of your hands if you slip on the T30 torx under undoing pressure, please wear gloves and use a quality bit.
My suggestion is to lightly tap the top of the bolts before attemting.

    All the best

Sounds like hard won experience, hope the stitches come out soon...

i didnt cut my fingers this, time. phew
most of the time previously, they were
on the bench already before i touched them.

but now have to do everything myself, removed V/B on the car the other day, that's when i thought of you guys to post.
As i can plainly see it would be game over.

Such a good warning which everyone should take seriously. A large proportion of accidents happen at home. And yes, I speak from experience too, albeit a wood chisel not a spanner. Stitches, yes? All OK, luckily, not much skill involved with hindsight.
