    Default 505 Diesel conversion

    hi i have a 504 diesel 4 speed that i am thinking of fitting into my 505 sr wagon are their major problems in doing this . i am thinking the diff ratio may be one . has anyone done one of these conversions

    there was talk about this not so long ago on here but with a 505 turbo diesel engine

    you will need to upgrade springs as well in the front end and also run new fuel lines

    you should be able to stick with the BA7 box with a 504 diesel engine so that's no drama fitting that into the wagon

    there is a bit of time consuming work to be done

    to my knowledge there were never any 505 RH drive wagons sold in this country but i'm not sure if there were any sold overseas in RH drive
