    Default Way happy with latest mods to Pig205

    Just had the Pig dynoed today after flowing the TB'S to the head and getting
    the 8 angle seats done at the same time...Wow!! After a 4 hr dyno session he still was having trouble getting the extra that he knew was there and then i told him the news...the last time i filled her up was out in the country and they didnt have Optimax so plain jane unleaded went it...oops!!
    He will re-do the dyno tomorrow using Optimax.
    Results from the 'UNLEADED " tune was 112kw atw [up from 104 ] so pretty stoked at this...and with more advancement/optimax may even see 114.

    This has been all done on the very same dyno so please dont jump on the old
    'EVERY DYNO IS DIFFERENT" bit.
    These figures i'm happy with now however they may not result in a better drive @track or quarter mile....only time will tell.

    Howdy JR. Eight angle seats? I'm intrigued - how wide is the actual valve seat? Are these on both inlet and exhaust?

    Thats a fantastic result.

    Just goes to show the difference a 16V head makes.

    Should be a lot faster than some other "slow" cars.

    Hi Jr,
    keep us posted on the results using some optimax, very impressive already. By my calculation your looking at just over 200 flywheel hp on ULP.
    Can you fill us in on what modifications you have done to the engine to date?

    Stuey; they are the factory width and its on both the inlet and exhaust, anymore dimensions and he wont tell me. This is the guy that does the 8 cuts on the v8 supercars and keeps everything fairly secret.

    Brad: 64 seconds would be nice however me thinks a lousy extra 8kw atw wont make up 2 seconds. I WISH !! iT now drives completely different to b4 as everything has been changed on the dyno thus i may even get slower on the day till one gets used to it.
    Brad you cracked me up with your comment when i asked could my son in law
    come to our track day with his 300zx. You replied "if you know him thats fine "
    Fancy not knowing the person who married your daughter !! LOL
    Back to the track time talk....i should say the car is capable of 64 sec. however the driver is a little bit gutless when it comes to going flat out[ in particular corner#1 -only 130k's for me at the moment. My ticker gets smaller as i get older....i said Ticker !! nothing else. cheers jr

    JR, my comment on you son-in-law, I was really only trying to make a general statement for others to get the picture about the people I wanted going. As you know the normal saturday events are attended by every man and his dog, I just wanted to make people aware how I was limiting numhers.

    130kms is a good speed in turn 1, I go in there at 130 and fall back to about 120 by the end of the turn.

    BTW, Looks like I might have another car to drive on Monday. What is it? It's fast, that's all I'll say at this time
