Default Sydney Dinner at French Restaurant-Pre Xmas?

    Hi all,

A friend of mine works in a French restaurant in North Sydney.

Would we all be interested in going there for our next Sydney dinner? If so, would we like to do it before Christmas? What day? Any day early next week probably won't work for me, and I have a work Christmas party on Thursday so that's most of next week ruled out.

If it's all going to be too hard, at least we have a good location sorted out

    Derek

    Good idea De-rock-sta

Which days are you reffering to as being "early", because if it doesn't include Wednesday, i am free Wednesday night...?

Friday night (19th) is my work's XMAS party...and i'm sure everyone has lots of plans for the 20/21 Dec W/end. However, if people don't have plans i may be available either Sat or Sun.

Alternatively, Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd are both free for me too.

    What does everyone else think??

I think I am free most nights except for Thurs and Fri.

    Sounds fun.

Don't think I'll be able to bring the Cit though, it will be off the road for a bit.

    Hi all,

I fly home tomorrow, which was why it couldn't be "early" this week. It'll have tp be after Jan 21, when the restaurant re-opens after Christmas. I'll get a copy of the menu soon.

I work in the same building as that restaurant! It's a bit expensive though...

Happy hour in their bar from 5 to 7 every night though...

Heh that referred to me buying it. It was just a spur-of-the-moment, impulse, silly purchase.

Quite cool though, I'm really warming to it

I did that with a CX and now have 2....I think Citroens are like that. After 17 odd years in and out of pugs, I always wanted a Cit but was a little dubious about what I was letting myself into!

Don't regret it though - love them as much as the pugs!

    Enjoy!

    Regards
    Andrew

    OK.

The BBQ is getting closer and will soon be over, so let's resurect this thread about dinner.

How about something in early Feb? Saturday 7th? I've talked to my friend Julia who works there, and she's suggested Saturday night because they have live music then - much better ambience obviously.

    Let's get talking

It's all food and no driving

I thought we were a French car club, not a food club.

I'm not saying I don't like doing all these things, but the odd drive somewhere in there is always nice.
