Default PCCV Meeting: Guest Speaker from Peugeot

Next Friday, Peugeot's Public Relations & Customer Relations Manager Mathew McAuley will be speaking at our PCCV meeting, the final meeting for 2003. Should be a good opportunity to find out some Peugeot gossip - we'll be hearing about the RWC sponsorship and about new models

The final meeting should be very interesting, starting at 8PM sharp. There will be videos of recent PCCV events too. This meeting promises to be a lot more engaging than some previous meetings such as the, *cough* AGM *cough*

    Guests are always welcome.

Our meeting venue is at the Camberwell Civic Centre Theatrette, Inglesby Road Camberwell

By the way, if any of the Victorian French Car Clubs have events they would like to publicise in our Aussiefrogs calendar, please forward me the details.

    G'day Justin,

I don't suppose you could pick up my Renault Class Trophy from DECA at the meeting could ya??

I'm working nightshift this week, so my chances of attendence is zero.

BTW - I spoke to Phil and he found the missing time for event 5....

I might meet you (and grab it of ya) on Saturday the 6th (if you know what is still on???) but I wont be abe to stay for long, as I would have just finished work and will need to sleep...preferably not at the wheel

BTW...I knocked you of by 2 tenths of a second overall

If ya can pick up the trophy, let us know. Otherwise, I'll try and organise something else

    Regards,
    Richard

    Congratulations.

I can pick the trophy up, but could you let Phil know in advance - I think I'm quite well known within the club for the 307, so people would be quite suspicious seeing me pick up the trophy for the Renault category

Just received some advice on the meeting,

After the meeting there will be refreshments served and a short but exciting film will be shown.

For those who have been bored out of their brains at previous meetings, Friday's meeting might be a good time to give PCCV meetings another chance

Hey Justin, I won't be able to make it tomorrow to the meeting. It would have been great to watch this short but exciting film but alas, I cannot.

Let me know how it goes anyway.

    Have fun!

HAHA i have to agree with you there john, i've done this before, my dad tried to force me to go for a meeting but to be truthfully honest, i couldnt give a dam about "10 easy steps to restore a 203" or how a "604 was the most underrated car" or "peugeot's new marketing strategies to sell at least ten 607's".

I just hanged in the carpark & perved at the cars.

For anyone interested in new Peugeots, Friday's meeting would rate as the most interesting PCCV meeting I've ever been to.

Mathew McAuley is a great person to deal with and his grasp of issues and broad knowledge is very impressive. He provides great support to enthusiasts. It was great having a chat after the meeting discussing various issues.

    Rendezevous.

I was delayed at work, so I missed the first 45mins of the meeting - not sure what they had there.

I have Richard's trophy too, unfortunately they misspelt your surname

Well, it wouldn't translate from the Dutch for "Of the sea"

You should be able to guess it though, they confused two letters that are oft confused. It's not too bad.
