Welcome to the forum,

Clios are great at the Wakefield. My mate was having a great time playing cat and mouse with a VK SS GRP-A commodore last time, yella terra heads, stright gears monster tacho etc, and the VK driver got rather peeved off at the stock clio passing him. After the session he came up and asked what was done to the car, when the reply was "NOTHING" he said few choice words and concluded he must trade in his V8 for one of those. all in good sprit.

We'll see you there.

excuses already, geez!!!!!

Seriuosly though, if you have an exhaust leak should you be driving the car, maybe there is a chance of burning a valve?

Just wire the inlet manifold shut in the "short" position. You won't need the "long" option anyway.

No excuses!

Peter,
you could do it for Chris on the spot at Wakefield... hint hint hint wink

chris,
The timing device I have is car mounted and hardwired into the car. since it looses the memory when it looses the power I have it permanently on. I'll see what I can do for the day. I am trying to get the supplier GPT supplier to bring a demo unit with him. (I will know later during the week).
Thats what my unit looks like.

Unless work gets in the way the local distributor for GPT product will be at wakefield with a new timing device (sender in car, receiver on pitwall) to check if it is feasible for Pocket Racing purposes. We should be able to rig the cars to lap ourselves properly.

It looks like the exhaust will wait a bit more but hopefully the rollcage will be done before the 4th... hopefully.

if you have to

hehe, ofcourse mate. Its not the type of the car you are driving, its the experience of giving it a decent run, and enjoying yourself. Remember you should always driving within your and your car limits. You are only racing the clock and trying to better yourself.
Start to practice your caughing and wheezing on the phone. wink

I've done one too many Nasho and Old Pac runs in the SP20 so its brake rotors are suffering from it. They are warped to buggery so a new set is needed.

But I need to get the Pug back on the road first.
