Next Sydney cruise?

Hello all,

I know it's so soon after the last one, but is anyone interested in a Sydney cruise?

I missed the last one as I didn't own a Pug at the time, and it wouldn't be right to turn up in a '90 Laser.

However, I recently acquired a 405Mi16, and am in love. I love all pugs in general, old or new. Can't be matched for class.

A friend of mine (205 GTi series 3) is also definitely interested in coming.

Expressions of interest?

The silver series 1 with the non-working sunroof (from Mt Colah/Ryde). Also needs a new cat, but other than that is in good shape for its age and ks. Paintwork and leather are almost immaculate. $5500.

With regard to the cruise, I can be in more or less any weekend. Same goes for my friend.

If I get my car back tomorrow, I am planning to go for a drive to Newcastle Sunday morning to test the car. Adrian and Peter are competing in the Hillclimb championship and I was going to give them some support. Wont be staying long would like to be home just after lunch.

If you want to come along, you are welcome.

The cruise last time was alot of fun and gave me a good excuse for a nice long country drive...

So, yeah i'd be interested in coming along.

Someone should maybe start putting some dates down etc... Any ideas for the possible route?

Are we talking about the drive to Newcastle this weekend or a later date.

I can't make it this weekend, and actually the next few weeks are a bit hecktic due to engagement parties and running around visiting people (here i was thinking getting engaged ment you got to get married and spend more time with your girlfriend/fiance! HA! mallet )

But i'll try and make it if im free, i could probably do with the break already :p roll_lau

Double Demerit weekend !

Leave the cruise until you only get to loose half the points you would this weekend.

I would suggest towards the end of this month?

And heading up the coast tomorrow morning is going to take forever.

Lots of people will be heading out of Sydney for the long weekend.

I'm out for the next 2 months pretty much.

I'll try to make it on whatever date.

After next weekend i'll only have a couple of other things on that i'll struggle to get out of.

Meaning i should be free for pretty much the rest of the year for a drive.

OK, this is a slightly revised list of interested participants. I am happy to organise that date, but I'd like to leave the route to someone else who can plan something really nice.

OK, any weekend is more or less fine by me, and nobody else seems to have any problems with any specific dates. So, if anyone can throw up a date, we'll call it on, and start a new thread.

The interested people are...

Me,
My friend,
Deka,
Parry (?),
Benny Marsh (?),
Pug 309,
Kristian,
jfn306,
Dr. 306,

I wouldn't mind trundling along too. I've never been on an aussie frogs drive. Can you add me to the list?

Hello Guys & Gals, i'm keen for another drive day!

The soonest w/end i can make will be the 18th/19th Oct. Which i believe is the weekend that 206gti.net are having a cruise? Why don't we join forces and combine an aussiefrog & 206gti.net cruise??

Other than that, the next available weekend for me is 8/9 November.

I'm sure a Clio Sport would be more than welcome on a 206GTi.net drive

Actually, there's one that regularly stars on the MEL ones

I agree with Dave ... let's combine forces. It worked VERY well in WA

Here's the 206GTI.net thread: http://www.aussiefrogs.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=000198

8/9 November I won't be in Sydney wink

Ahh, it's hint season again

Cooperation works well - I organised the first combined Melbourne 206gti.net & Aussiefrogs drive which was fun. Helps boost the numbers too and the photos work well when you arrange cars by series.

I'll issue a challenge - get a 607 on your cruise!
