Well done guys - sorry I couldn't join you. Had all good intentions of catching up in York and then one of my driveshafts exploded at the racetrack

Sounds like a great day - well done Guy for all the organisaiton and fantastic to see such great participation. I will definitely be there for the next one.

    Cheers

That was mine (thats me in the shorts - spot the Victorian enjoying the "warm" weather ), driven all the way from Melbourne last month and due to be driven back in a couple of weeks. Yes it is an auto, but soon to be a manual when I get back. Bloody great car - a bit old and rattly, but very original and it handled the nullaboor very nicely. It especially enjoyed the long sweepers that are found in abundance on the way over (especialy with the slightly faster V6 steering rack I put in it)
But it is subject to physics, and so there was no way I was going to keep up with all those much lighter 206s on the tight corners!

I notice earlier in other pics, that particular 306 MAXI is right hand drive, it is very strange to me. I thought it only came in LHD as a kit car.

If they still make it....well I guess I have to start saving.

    Cheers
    Billy cheers!

That's cause it's not genuine ... but it's not slow either.

Nice photoshop work, you got just the right shade of faded black paint on my number plate panel - I almost ran out to see if my number plate had fallen off mallet
