Default CANBERRA: Saturday March 11 coastal cruise

    Greetings,

It has been a while since I have posted here. I do recall that last time I was in Canberra I did meet an AussieFrogger who had a Pug GTI 180 and the chap was rather a car enthusiast. I know that some boards dont like cross promotions of G2G's and I am unsure of AussieFrogs stance on this so if this offends or upsets please let me know. I am lazy, I am new to Canberra and I am organising a G2G over on Eurocca.net's forums - inviting the Mini2 people and the 'texers too! And you canna leave out the frogs! It would be wrong!

Details of the proposed and still forming G2G http://forums.eurocca.net/showpost.p...80&postcount=1 : basic summary - Black Mountain -> Kangaroo Valley -> Somewhere -> Batemans -> The Brah again!

Just in case any one is able to come, full details are:

    Well people,

    Full plannyness is here!

8:30 AM meet at Black Mountain Carpark (Telstra Tower) for 9:00 AM sharp departure

We have a plan and some estimated travel times are:

Approx 2 hours to Robertson Pie shop

Pie shop through the valley and down into Nowra - approx 45min.

Nowra to Batemans approx 1.5 hours

Lunch at Batemans - any suggestions?

The route will be nothing that most have not done before - up the highway most of the way to Robertson, then onto the yummy twisty back roads throught the valley.

Stumpy can recommend a slight detour at the tight corner of the top of the mountain before dropping into Nowra, there is a lookout, which to get to you drive along a narrow road that has been overgrown on the side to the point of almost being tunnel like. Good views at the end.

I know that I'm excited and looking forward to seeing some of you there!

    Haha! That was seriously funny.

I kept on calling him Barf Vader with the power over the intestine. I mean people have simultaneously thrown up and shat on that car which is an impressive feat!

A pity there is no pic of the bonnet, that alone is worth two buckets!
