Default Brisbane is a boring place!!

Can we do somthing??!!!!!!!!! Down south they never stop!! Where as we go a month or two between event's. I know it is time intensive planing a drive, but we can always just do a 'random' drive to somewhere. Bayside, Gold Coast, Beaudesert...etc. Or go out for diner, coffee. Don't mind me, I just have the urge to do somthing.

    James.

You guys suck... However, i booked a flight today. How about a drive in honour of me?

Last time i was up my mum wouldn't let me go unsupervised in her car, but i said i wouldn't visit again until i had transport. It isn't french, but it is RWD and pretty rapid...

Can you wait till this time next month?

Did i mention it's for sale...? lol

Anyway, my mum has a BM... Dad has offered me his 406 coupe while i'm up, but i would like to see what the kraut is capible of. (plus it's quicker and sportier)

I don't know if it's worth organising a drive while i'm up, but is anyone up for a beer? I know hardly anyone in brisbane, and my visits are generally quite boring...

Sounds like a great run, not sure if I'll make it though due to... well, I don't really have any excuses other than my laziness. Hmmm, let me think about it.

Hehe I'll go if Billy goes. My car isn't a 206 though, I don't think I'll fit in with the vdub crowd.

I'm in! I like that run, and now that I have a super mega 120hp engine, i'll be unstoppable! ... really should've put the S3 brakes in too.

You lot have to turn up, no laziness allowed! Plus I want to have passenger rides in your car, see what i'm missing out on while I pour money into an 18 year old wreck... etc etc.

Hey guys, be glad to have you along. Don't worry about "fitting in", variety is the spice of life! We might have a WRX coming anyway. We don't care, as long as some people turn up!

Pencil me in. Aegan blue GTI 180.

Of course use a 2H pencil ( i.e. very faint ) as whenever I get the idea of coming to one of these things something always comes up.

It'd be good to come along.

James, do what I do. Put up a post, plan a route, and the true believers will come. It doesn't take to long to plan a drive, I do most of my planning using GE and other net tools.

    Double uh-oh.

    1) I realised the 4th is my mums birthday, and she might be a bit peeved if i ditch her for risking my life on public roads.

    2) I flatspotted my front left heavily when dodging a roo that decided the middle of the road was a great place to chill. It's a real shame, that was a fairly new tyre, but i guess it's cheaper than a new radiator/bonnet/headlights...

I'll still try to make it of course, but i'll probably have to leave a bit early, and I won't be running at the front. Besides, i still haven't got the knack with this new engine, it makes the car feel a bit different somehow...
