Yes, The the end of the resonator has rusted away. Mid pipe is sort of just hanging there. Sounds good if you want to be in the wrx crowd.

Hey guys, tomorrow is the day. Can I get confirmation on who is definitely coming?

    Remember, details are:

    Meet 9am for 9:30am departure
    Ferny Grove train station carpark
Samford Rd, Ferny Grove (opp Ferny Way, next to FG Tavern)

Route to take in Clear Mountian Rd, Mt Mee, Woodford, Bellthorpe Rd, Reeseville Rd, Maleny, Kenilworth, Moy Pocket Rd, Obi-Obi Rd and lunch at the pub at Mapleton.

    Hope to see you then.

I'm up for a drive soonish.... Just not Sat mornings as I'm selling fruit at the Northey St organic Market.

Could we theme a drive? Like check out a patisserie or try some French cheeses........

I know this sounds a bit cheesy but these are French cars right?

Well, you're all slack bastards. I was the lone french car but boy, did we have some fun. The VW forum guys are a great bunch and it was really good to meet them. Was a little disappointed that no Golf R32's or new GTi's were in the mix, wanted to see them in action. I'll definitely join in on future drive days with them.

On a side note, the Silverstone FTZ's performed remarkably well. At first they were a little squiggy but after a bit of pushing they gripped quite well. Oh, and the EBC brake rotors and Redstuff pads were awesome.

You know, when the date was being organised, i was absolutely oblivious to the fact that it happened to be my mums birthday... She doesn't exactly like me tossing a car down a mountain on regular days, so it was definitely off the cards for her birthday.

'Twas a great day out. Thanks for coming along Rich, always great to meet new Froggers.

The guys over on Vortex are itching for another cruise in early-mid March (provisional date set for Saturday 11th). Route (subject to confirmation) to take in Boonah, Killarney, Kyogle, lunch at the pub in Uki (great food), Murwillumbah and back over the border via Springbrook. Meeting point would probably be around the Mt Ommaney / Jindalee / Wacol area for Brisbaneites, Boonah for Gold Coasters.

Once again you're all more than welcome to attend.

Sound's like a good drive, I won't commit at this stage either, I need to get a few things fixed on the Mi, mainly the exhaust. Hopfully I can have them done in time.

James, maybe you should change your sig to say the Mi is also backfiring in a street near you, ha ha!

lol ......yea . It's not so much the backfiring, but it sure does sound like a wrx in disguise. I figure I should just cut the exhaust off at the cat, who needs an exhaust! It is an a lot cheaper solution than the $800 I’ve been quoted for a straight through system. Which doesn’t seem like a great deal but being between jobs it is at the moment.

I'm still here James. Just not as often. I'm not planning any drives at the moment. I wouldn't mind if someone else planned one though.

I would suggest a short notice get together, (and maybe drive) but i am terrified of the roads up here... I just drove from noosa to brisbane, and i can honestly say that drivers here are the biggest bunch of c**** in the world. (i have driven lots through europe as well)

At one point i had a semi overtake me, (along with everything else!) and i was sitting on 120kph!

We could do the usual mt. glorious/nebo and mt. mee run next saturday. I guess a start time of 8 from samford again? My favourite road is along somerset dam, although the run down mt. mee is also invigorating.

Al, how long are you in town for?

100% agree with you. Not a day goes buy where I don't see something that makes me shake my head in wonder.
From the Family Guy lounge . . .

BRIAN: Let me get this straight....you're asking if they've ever done an episode of sesame street in which The Count kills somebody....and then drinks their blood for sustanence....

    PETER: Yeah

    BRIAN:
No, i dont think they've ever done that
