Default Tour through adelaide hills anyone interested??

G'day. I live in the Adelaide hills and I would like to see if there are any guys and girls who would like to help me organise and partake in a day where we get a pile of frogs and craussaunts together and go for a day out in the hills?
I see enough 504, 505, 205, 405, 206 and 307's and plenty of French cars out and about. Reply to this thread and register your interest. R's James

**Now on Sunday 5th JUNE ( moved from the Satturday )
    11.30AM

START: Meeting at the car park (next to the "toll gate" at Mt osmond see pic attached the entrance is at the start of Gill Street.) on the freeway that heads up thru the Heysen Tunnels. Gather here at 11.30AM.

I will provide a map for our little trek out to Strathalbyn.

There are BBQ's, ammenities , shops and it is very scenic.

Looking forward to seeing a gaggle of FROGS and TADPOLES!

I notice you say the “old” Devil’s Elbow, because since the tunnel went through, the "old" road has been gradually lobotimised to the extent where most of the fun has been taken out. Now 60km/h limit and single lane some of the way, also it is regularly patrolled by police following complaints by neighbours.

Still at least all of our roads are free of charge here, and there are plenty of other fun roads to enjoy so it isn’t all bad :-)

Hows this sound: A start at the first truck stop near the tollgate, drive up the eagle on the hill, turn off at Stirling, go thru aldgate, to mylor, to meadows thru to a lunch at strathalbyn. From Strath to macclesfield, to Mt Barker, to bridgewater, to summertown , down Greenhill Rd or across the top of Cleland to crafers then back to the tollgate ??

When the 206GTI's head down here in september wouldnt a gathering with all makes of Pugs be sweet! Instead of "all British day" (like what Uraidla holds) ,"all Pug day"! this icon would look so cool if it was a frog!

There is a brewhause off of the Hahndorf exit called "Grumpys', I could perhaps ask the owner if he would host a Pug gathering. Theres enough room for at least 50 cars. Or Moana (silversands) carpark is massive, right on the beach and you can drive on the beach, legally. I'd advise against this, unlesss u have a T16!
Bogged G/F's 505 there not long ago, lucky the locals are helpful!

Slight OT divergence here. How about a mass attendence at the All British Day with British built Peugeot's? A reasonable number of 205's, 405's and 306's would be eligible :-)

Satturday 4th of June looks like a good date. For who ever is interested, Starting off at the car park on the freeway that heads up through the "Heysen tunnels" near the "Toll gate" at Mt Osmond. I'll make up a little map. See the opening thread to this topic for full details.

Make you include Paris Creek Road in your run from Meadows/Macclesfield to Strath or vice versa

So everyone the carpark will be on your left side of the road directly opposite the tollgate. If you are coming from Adelaide.
