    Icon2 Melb Meet - Sun 13th Mar

Gonna get the ball rolling here and announce a melbourne meet and lunch / bbq or whatever on Sunday the 13th of March.

Why that date? 'Cos i want to and i started this thread! Those poll things take too much time anyway and you always end up with one or two people unhappy, so i'm saving you all the disappointment later.

Where: Kinglake Nat Park? Or open to suggestions here ...

    So who's up for it?

(nb - date has been changed - thanks David)

Put me down, Kinglake would be a nice run too. Yeah a BBQ sounds good to me. Hopefully have my wheels then so would be a great day to go out for a drive. Asanka, bring out the 205 so I can see it, or maybe borrow your boss' boxter

I'll have to get Goldy washed by the looks of things. She's in a bad bad way due to lack of time to wash her. The last 3 metres of rain that we received hasn't helped, just made her look even more filthy. The big scratch down the front is also a disaster However, she's running a treat at the moment, for some reason the engine is just singing.

Anyway, think we'll be free. Rach is keen with her 205gti too.

Mani might be on the road by then so I'll say a tentative 'me too'. I'd hate to miss it but there's only so far you can push a car without an engine

    hey boys and gals,

if you dont believe me, dig up some old mebourne cruise threads - then youll see what i mean!

    dont miss out!

im hoping the old skool will be out in force minus our beloved justin (tear, tear).

dont make me name err names.

... and yeah, none of this long straight high speed driving - just pure and utter switchback heaven.

no probs! most of these roads have speed limits of up to 100... and youd have to be suicidal or travel by F16 or be DTwo, Jesus, McPug, rek or PUG307 to hit those speeds.

as much fun the maroondah cruise was, it will shade in comparison.

itd be a good blat, this one.

yah, its late, and i'll be fkt over in the morning.

Spoke to Rach about this last night and she's keen as mustard, so you've got two more.

Hopefully no fricken tourists will be out to ruin our day!

If anyone is from westside or northside of town, it would be great to meet up at some point.
I'm in Brunswick, so it could be via w'ring rd all the way to h'brg rd, or go around bell st. al through the end hmm

    Anyone there?
