Default French Car Festival - Melbourne

I have yet to look through the whole forum but I was wondering if the French car day of Victoria was coming up?. Has a date and place been set for this year, who's organising it, Renault | Peugeot | Citroen car clubs.

I reckon people will be starting to clean and polish their french pride and joy's soon...

    Covert,

The French Car Festival is being held on the 17th of April at the same venue as last year - Macleay Park in North Balwyn.

It is being organised this year by the Citroen Car Club of Victoria.

The RCCV has yet to recieve a flyer about the event bu the date and venue have been confirmed...

    Regards,

    Richard Vandermeer

Well, I can practically roll my car there then. Dunno if I would be showing mine as the poor thing has just taken a nasty scrape along the front thanks to a narrow driveway.

Stone Free - my dad lives right around the corner in Maud St, so I'll make sure he brings his '91 205 GTi.

    Whereabouts are you?

His car is in absolutely amazing condition (unlike mine!! ), it still has new car smell!!

All cars are French cars welcome, in whatever state of repair, and the entry fee is the same low cost as last year , $5 per car and spectators free.

There will be a BBQ provided for people to cook their own food, or buy lunch from one of the providers on site.

I think I'd be a little bit embarrassed to show mine at the moment such is the poor girl's condition. Well, maybe I could if I could park it next to Richard's 505

Pugalug, is your dad's 205 Sorrento Green? I think I have seen him around a couple of times. I actually thought it was my GF who drives an identical car.

Ha ha... The 505 might be all fixed up by then so you could be on your own...

Being realistic for a moment, I'm hoping to bring the 25 down which should be driving by then. You'll have to excuse the dandruff - uh, flaking paint on its roof though.

Yeah, his is Sorrento Green. When I visit them I usually park my gun-metal grey one out the front as well.

No need to be embarrassed about the condition of your car let me assure you. My 205 is not quite in showroom condition

    seriously can you be farrkd???

amazing cars all around you & you want to hand out flyers??
Ok i know thats what you do for a living but do ya wanna do that on your day off too??

Should be a great day, its one day of the year that ALOT of the melbourne AF members are out in force, id imagine this year will be no exception (if anything the crowd will be bigger). It a great social gathering, only thing missing are french women, well attractive ones anyway.

hope the weather wil be good.

now should i bring both my holdens or just the one?
