    me.

and probably LeighO, Jastanis and Gti138. We just need to agree on a date and time that everyone can fit in their busy schedules.

Hmmmm posse - good plan. I dont think I've done a night run since I've had my pug - sad I know. But we normally go for sunday runs either through the hills and then for lunch at a pub somewhere (usually hahndorf) or end up down south at Victor Harbour or somewhere similar.

At the moment i'm a bit busy with work to organise something but yeah I'll gladly come along if I can fit it in.

I have an aversion to riceboys so I'd rather it not be a sat night. Too many other dic*heads out on the roads. Sunday Mornings tend to be the best time for runs as the traffic is light, the riceboy count is low etc. Plus you can see better on the roads.

We tend to avoid the city, beaches etc and spend time up in the hills.

ill be in for that too

    but

i live in one tree hill, on a dirt road, so my cars are always dirty, and i get to burn through snake gully every day, i'm over it.

i love to give my cars a bit of a spit and polish, and show them off to the world now and then

common on people, are you ashamed by the look and presence of your vehicles

i want to be with those who love and appreciate their vehicles

its a sad day when people are scared to go for a nice cruise along the beach in a nice car on a hot summers night. don't you like flooring a big rimed sss.

instead of seeing a fleet of bloody silvia's cranking along the esplanade, wouldn't you like to see a column of frogs

take your streets back people, this is SA not LA!

don't be scared to be different

Unless we start getting sufficeint interjections with half-decent reasons then i think we should work towards a Feb 13th get-together. We need to decide upon a common start point, rest stops and planned route. How long a day can most people endure ? That 300km trip we made last year was full-on but fun. Are we up for that level of preparedness.

I like daytime more than night too. And Sundays will work best for me.
Sorry casterbased, perhaps some other folk will help you show the ricers up!

I'd prefer not to start too early as I'll be out the night before
I'm also not going to be able to manage a 300k marathon

What about meeting in town somewhere and heading to Clarendon and down to Port Norlunga? That's about 40km

I'm new to this - is organising it here a problem, should we avoid any traps by discussing the route when we hook up?

Sounds OK to me. I think if we meetup on the day decide on a general direction and set some well known meet up points there wont be an issue

Just a pointer, avoid Greenhill Rd to Uraidla in the morning (probably between 9-11am) of Feb 13. It is All British Day at Uraidla Oval, I made the mistake last year of leaving late for an early morning hills run, and ended up getting baulked by a Hillman Hunter, which ended up dying in the middle of the road, then baulked by an asthmatic A40, but easily disposed of. The image at the top of the hill was priceless though, numerous Jags and other Brits boiling away merrily on the layby!
