Bris to the Bay Sept 14th

Its the same run as last years, and for memory last years cruise was excellent.

Meet @ Anzac Park in Toowong Sun 14th Sept
    Time 8:30am for a 9:00am departure
From Toowong we head to Samford then Dayboro, Mt Mee, through Caboolture and finish up on Bribie Island, then settle for a BYO French lunch, but there is a fish and chip shop near, so if ya want just settle on that.

Its organised by the Tri committee so Cits, Pugs and Rens are all invited.

Sounds interesting. We'll have to get a crew together for the day.

We had 62 cars last year, with good variety. Great to see the 2CVs scraping doorhandles on the mountain bends. It was just good to see that many French cars on the road at once.

    Hey all,

Time to resurrect this thread, me thinks. I'll be there with the pug, won't be run in though but at least this'll add to the kilometres I have to clock up till I can give it some.

Rich, so you got the Pug back? If so, how's it going? I was looking at getting the cam wheel but opped out as I didnt want to spend $150 on a part I didn't know was going to do anything.

Anyways, back to this thead, we will be there. If there may be issues with meeting up with people due to the number of cars there, we could meet else where before hand and rock up together. I live at Annerley if that's close to anyone.

    Brad,

Well, had it back for a few days, problem with it overheating. Getting it back tomorrow so I can start clocking up the clicks.

Can't rev it past 5,000rpm at the moment, it's killing me 'cos it picks up alot just before 4,500rpm. Got a 3-3.5k rpm flat spot, hoping the ECU will sort it out. Doing the cam adjustments after it's been run in so should be able to tell if it makes a difference and how much.

What time are we expecting to finish up? a_drink

    Rich

p.s. Do you guys use handheld UHF CB radios?

Lol...mine is hardly a sub. 6" actually cry . At the moment it's all to do with room. I find I need the boot space almost every second weekend, groceries etc. The 'widdle' 6" only needs about 8l for a ported box.

My amp has also crapped itself, loosing all front channels and one rear + connections, so at the moment it's a little dead

lol, Brad. I hope so too. I've sent you an email about meeting up at your place.

I've scored my bosses Sony digital cam so I'll go snap happy with that, probably take some video as well. I might have a spare UHF handheld so I can lend it to someone for the cruise if anyone wants it.

Well I'm right pissed at the moment (not the drunken type though ). I won't be able to make it and I don't want to take the Mrs Charade as you'll all want popcorn once you hear the CV's.

Once I have the car sorted, I'll organise a drive day for us all.
