Default OK Frogs; pads in the air!!

Well; she's 9 days to go............

FCS/Bastille Day/You show me yours and I'll show you mine time in Brisbane and Sydney

    Here's the go....................

    Turn up

    Pay your dues
In Brisbane $10 to drive in (sheet; a dude wif a key can do more damage than that in 2 seconds maaan!!)

But, but, the car looks like shit............yeah Babe; that's what they'ze come ta see....cars that are used not ones they use to stare at!!

You don't know anyone???? Hey, how good is that?? Youse gunna meet so many new people and because you own a Froggy....they gunna all be your friends.

The car might break down...........hey brudder; you gunna be da star of da show; that's what makes ownin' a frog so special...the thrill of it all (am I gunna make it there??)

There's going to be a great display of cars at both the UQ and in Sydney @ Silverwater Park, Silverwater and I can gurantee a great time for one & all. How do I know? Well for the past 20 years (on & off) I've been attending these and I haven't been to a bad one yet.
If you own a French Car, you owe it to yourself & your family to be there; see you at Brisbane.
Who else is going to UQ???????????????? and who will be at Silverwater?????

    Looking forward to it.
Unfortunately, looks as though a couple of members of my family won't be able to make it this year due to one having to go into hospital the following day for a "cut 'n shut" but at this stage we'll have a couple of 16Vs there.
I'm hoping to have another "feature" alongside us that should get a few hearts a pumpin' and in the process will save all and sundry a few dollars in running their Froggies; won't say any more at this stage but could (favourably) raise a few eyebrows.
We're not out to upstage the clubs but I feel the club members as well as the aussiefroggers should find this year a paticularly interesting event and I'd expect a bit more interaction between the two than there was last year although I was a little late last year; it takes talent as a navigator to end up going through the 'gabba just prior to the start of a big at home game of AFL after getting in a gridlock in Whickham Street whilst trying to find the UQ in a CX with all fans blazing on full speed whilst getting some serious '!$$ taken out of me by teenage sons in back seat!!

Well being a Dill I turned up to UQ today.

No really it was a preperation run

I will second the "My car is not showcase" quality.

I will exhibit my car as a Spraycan Paint Job Gone Wrong.

    See everyone there next Weekend.

    I'll be there.

I'll almost guarantee that I'll be the only car there with nitrous.

That will ruffle a few feathers I'm sure.

I'll be heading down to the big smoke in the 6 oh.

It's going to be a big day Saturday washing and cleaning cars, cause I've got to wash the father-in-law's car also.
At least I can use a hose to wash the cars

BTW grab some water on your way through Bathurst, they're pretty stingy with their water use down in the big smoke

if all goes to plan we are thinking of heading down on saturday and staying o/night in the big smoke

i found a slight leak again in the heater tap today so i think the tap may have a crack in it so i'll change that out either tomorrow or wednesday

also going to rig up a bottle hanging from the bonnet to flush all the air out of the system when i put it all back together again (damn i hate heaters)

also going to just check all my carb and timing settings

should be interesting to see what sort of mileage the car gets with all aboard and the water injecting nicely into the engine

i threw 0.5 litre of metho in it the other day which nearly filled the bottle and the car has only been basically running around town so that's not too bad

even my missus made a comment on how much go the car has got compared to what it was like before the mods

We're going to do the early morning dash through the frosts and fogs Sunday morning.

I'll be interested to have a look your water setup.
