    Icon6 NSW CitroŽn D-Day 6th June

This year is the 49th anniversary of the unveiling of the DS.

Can we gather 49 DSí & IDs to celebrate ?

Bring your D alongóit doesnít have to be concours, or even all that shiny . Just running.

Meet other D owners and see LOTS of other Ds, from 1957 to 1975.
We will meet at the sea wall on Prince of Wales Drive, Botany at 10 am.

Then the convoy of cars will leave the sea wall at 11am, arrive at Kurnell at 12 noon, for a BBQ at 1pm. (There will be the usual bonnet opening ceremonies as well) .

The cost for the BBQ will be $5 per person for sausages and salads, bring your own steak! Contacts for the day are Paul Smith on 0414 426 714 (or PM me) & Darren Davis on 0410 538 746.

(A CCC of NSW Inc event specifically for DS & ID Citroens. Other Cits & Frogs welcome to tag along at the rear!)

Aaah I was wondering what D-Day was! Just a few minutes ago I was looking at Chevrons trying to work it out. I'm a bit slow

Myself + Father shall be there. We'll probably bring the new GS.

Come along this Sunday! See D's closer to the sea than they usally get - proximity to salt water makes them very, very scared .

Looking forward to this - a fine day is in the forecast, and to have a 49 of these beautiful creatures slowing flying along the tarmac to Kurnell will certainly stop the Hobbits (well the inhabitants of the Shire anyway!) and provide for some open mouth expressions - hopefully in admiration!

Let Us Pray ... 'we' have enough drivers for all those sleeping D's bursting to get out of the garage this Sunday.

Thanks to Paul + Darren (and anyone else) for organising this run. Seeing all those lovely D's was truly a sight to behold.

Please pass on my compliments to the chef (was it Narelle?) for those amazing salads... I had to go back for more!

    I've got some pics temporarily on my site;

    http://www.beecee.net/d_day/

They'll be deleted in a couple of weeks or so. Feel free to use the images in any way, but I reckon there were better photos taken on the day by others.

Thanks for the pix Brendan - I will use some for the next magazine!

I found a part number for your GS oil cap - 0258.23 - I have a spare new one still in its pack (it will also fit the DS).
