    Default 2004 Victorian Renault Round-up

    RENAULT ROUNDUP
On Sunday the 30th of May 2004, the Renault Car Club of Victoria is holding it's annual RENAULT ROUND-UP car show.

The event is one of the most popular on the R.C.C.V calender and usually draws a wide range of Renaults and Alpines.

The date for the Round-up has been moved to it's now annual date, the last Sunday in May.

With trophies for the best examples of each model, the competition is fierce and the presentation always sharp.

We'd love to see you and your Renault, and remember, entry for spectators is free and 'Petals the Clown' will be there to entertain the kids while you check out the cars.

This years Renault Round-up will be held at the same location as last -
    The Burvale Hotel
    Main Car Park
Cnr Springvale Road and Burwood Highway,
    Vermont South.

Have you guys considered a prettier venue? Whilst I agree that having beer close by is a plus, its an exposed, noisy and unappealing venue. Some nice park somewhere would be better i reckon

I also prefer park venues, I think the reason the committee voted on the Burvale was that of weather.

It could rain for a week and still be available. The club (and others) have been bitten before when it comes to events being cancelled due to the venue turning into a mud wrestling arena

Besides, I'm interested in the cars not the Fauna....

Seeya there........with da big brakes hopefully

Fair enough. If the weather is decent, you should put us all up on that grass bit at the back, or at least away from the road.

See you there (hopefully with a manual gearbox installed, but I doubt it - the auto is now refusing to die and my motivation is minimal while it still works...)

Richard, where's the Cops when ya need em, all those bumps are gunna cost a fortune at the panel shop.
where'd the happen in a carpark, or have you been rounding up cattle with the Fooago ?
    Health and good fortune always,

    Hello froggies,

Although I got there late, I still had the chance to take a couple of snaps, so I have put them up for froggies to see.

    That 8 is for sale!!!

Not sure who the owner is, I should have taken a photo of the "for sale" notice.

    He wants $8k for it.

If I had even 1/2 of that I would consider spotting the bank for some cash myself.

I will encode a quicktime movie I have of the white R4 TurboII. For tonight atleast (last billable day of the month for telstra) I dont mind putting them up, BUT they are BIG! (8mb and 6mb)

I will encode them to windows media files tomorrow which should 1/4 their size.

They are on the last page of the album in: http://renaults.no-ip.com/roundup/

    ------------------------------------------------------------

I have converted those quicktime videos.
    they are much smaller now..

    R4_TurboII.wmv 1.8Mb
    pan_of_cars.wmv 1.5Mb
