Default Syd Drive tonight or tomorrow night? (16th or 17th)

Is anyone interested in going for a drive tonight or tomorrow night? I'm keen to go for a spin in the 205 and was wondering if anyone wanted to meet up and cruise to somewhere like Cronulla?

My car is currently in getting an oil catch can on it but I SHOULD get it back this afternoon.

Hmmmm....that may be a very good idea Parry.

Would you be going Bells Line or the freeway? Because I live about 5 mins off Bells Line.

I could be in on that. Will be detailing a car all day and a drive might be nice after that.

I will update you tonight or early tomorrow. Need to contact the person I am meeting.

Now do I take the 405 or should I take the race car for some fun! Might be a bit too bumpy though!

Only catch is that I cant get away until 6pm 6:30ish. Hope that is not to late.

Thats a good time for me.

I'd say a good spot for you guys to meet me would be at Richmond Maccas.

If you call me when your about 20mins from Maccas I'll definately be there before you do. Alternatively, if you want to meet me on Bells Line I could meet you at the start of it at Nth Richmond.

Let me know what you want to do.

    Mobile is 0418 671 810.

You guys will have to work out where you want to meet.

    Noone saw it. Nothing happened.

The Police story is funny though. Myself, Darren, Nate, Parry, and Andrew were all gathered around an interesection on a corner on a country backroad behind Lithgow. We were all tightly parked together, and just having a yap about this and that.

Eventually a Police paddy wagon turned up, lights flashing. The older male cop got out and yelled out to his partner to cancel the ambulance. We were all a bit confused.

    Cop, "Everyone OK?"
    Us, "Yep"
    Cop, "So what happened?"
    Us, "What do you mean?"
    Cop, "Who's crashed into who?"
    Us, fall over laughing.

Apparently someone had passed us and figured we'd all had a big off (nice of them to stop and ask though!) and called the Cops!

After we finished explaining that we were just having a yak and were up form Sydney, they hopped back into their paddy wagon and speed off at a great (as much as you can in a Rodeo).

Now, it would've been really funny if they arrived 5 minutes later, as Nate and Andrew's mate were in the back of the Crewman looking at Rifles!

I hope I told that OK...it was quite amusing. We figured in Sydney we all would've been defected! Not that anyone except Darren had any cause for concern on that front!

    Yeah thats about it

I'm just glad that didn't want to search the cars or he would have got a bit of a shock .

That was hilarious! I don't blame the cops though, it was more the muppet who saw and reported it, but didn't stop and ask if everyone was ok. If that was a real accident and people were hurt, difference between calling an ambulance straight away instead of calling the police and their 15 mins to arrive and then the police calling the ambulance, could mean the time difference between life and death.

Uhmm what on earth was anyone carrying rifles for!?!?
    Take the long way home....
