Default Newport nsw coffee and breakfast

thanks to Narelle for organising the morning get together, it looked like the weather could have been against us but it turned and was fine with breaking sunshine.

the flyin pig cafe was delightful with a japanese shop adjacent. we all had our coffee and meal in this space surrounded by finely crafted ceramics precisely laid out.

    in the mix

    1 x CX GTi 1985
    1 x D special 1973 white
    1 x 2CV 1966 various tones
    1 x Big 15 white
    1 x C4 black
we all got there on times and chatted until about 11, not sure if the impending rain and grey skies kept some away however it would have been nice to have a few more, may be next time.

    thanks again to Narrelle.

I had a nose around Aussiefrogs, and the event seems to have not been mentioned in this forum before it happened. Was an announcement posted, then deleted after the day had passed?

    I thought possibly so.

But - isn't it a bit cliquey to put it here, post factum, and say "it would have been nice to have a few more" when there's a possibility people weren't aware of it? That's assuming the invitation was open to people reading Aussiefrogs.

    G'day Addo,
[humour] perhaps we might not invite them to the Peugeot owners tyre kicking day, [/humour]

After speaking to BIGRR on Sunday afternoon, know I'm in trouble for wagging the last few.

If things go to plan there will be an attempt on the "306 heater core speed record" involving myself, a helper (TBA) and 505604. Maybe the licensee of the Village Inn, Paddington, will also grace us with his presence?

We don't intend a similar time trial on renewal of the one-piece nylon fuel feed line in a Dee.
