    Default Targa Tasmania 2015

Is anyone going interested in an AF meet up or casual dinner at a restaurant/pub in Launceston one evening? (25th - 29th)
...It's about time we started a perpetual event ...suggest days/times/places etc

either somewhere central in Lonnie, or maybe Archer's Manor as a few crews seem to stay there....either the first or the last night up north?

I would be interested, Archer's Manor sounds good to me as it has a motor sport theme.

I'm thinking maybe the first night 25th as if this is to become an annual get together then it's a great chance for newbies to get the local goss and tips. A proper family get together and welcome.

Anyone know of any reasons it might clash? If everyone likes it and I can get numbers in time I can book a table at archers for dinner.

Thats ANZAC Day. Are you going to tie this in with Targa Tasmania? If so the dates move each year to fit in around ANZAC Day and Agfest which is the first Thursday, Friday, Saturday of May which happens to be 7th, 8th & 9th this year.

It would be good to have an all day event like watching the prologue in George Town then out for dinner at Archer's Manor that evening.

yes, tied in with Targa...and a full day beginning at the prologue sounds perfect (of course anyone can still come to the dinner if they're tied up during the day).

Alternative to Archers might be somewhere in Georgetown?

Disappointed I can't gatecrash this; airfares too dear for a quick mission and work is killing me. Hopefully will get to see AgFest instead.

Ok somehow I got my dates mixed up. The first day is Monday the 27th. Does this still work for everyone? (that means you Col...and anyone else who was toying with the idea)

Gah! I'm not going to be able to make the prologue today. A few things have suddenly come up that I have to attend to.

and are there any other takers for dinner? or would another evening suit better? We're really quite flexible. At the moment Col, it's your call if you want to drive all that way

ETA: Executive decision made. Dinner has been cancelled.

If anyone wants another night, just say so

and put it in your diary for next year
