Thank you Bazza for the update. We should have at least the R25 and Fuego there on the day - providing there are not any mechanical gremlins that show their head between now and then

The Fuego is now a $2700 motor car compared to its purchase price of $700 just on a year ago

We plan to be there if our little problem with blown head gasket or crack in the head is repaired by then.

For all those attending, please note that all vehicles must have drip trays. That is one of the conditions which the National Capital Authority has attached to our use of the site for the event.

    G'day,
the 18E does not drip. The driver might, occasionally, but not the car!
    Far too refined.

The drip trays should also have the ability to reduce leaked oil into CO2 and water. Impossible?

Given threw really are no British cars anymore (other than expensive Range/Land Rovers, and Jaguars) and French car sales are holding ground I do wonder whether the British will ever stand a chance into the future. Particularly if Renault's sales continue in their trajectory

Sorry I can't be there. As it's 34 degrees here I would have appreciated the cool change.

    Hi all

Given the dire forecast rain over the next few days and low temperatures as predicted by BOW for next Sunday, it has been decided to postpone the event to another day. Will advise alternative date later after consulting the National Capital Authority. Will possibly be in August depending whether the same site is free on a Sunday.

    Cheers

    Barry

Earlier today you may well have been thinking why oh why but an observation of the sky and forecast for tomorrow would indicate that this was a well calculated decision.
