Default Peugeot Sydney Sunday Morning Drive - Sydney - Wakefield, return via freeway

We are running the Pug 306 in a supersprint - Wakefield Sunday 19th. If anyone wanted to have a look and a nice drive.....

I have put together a decent route for a nice Sunday drive if anyone was keen to do it. If you want to do it, please drive sensibly and safely within the road rules.

Basically meet Cathy Freeman Park - Homebush, beside the Olympic Flame (Monster Skate Park) at 7.30 am for a 7.45 am departure (approx) - This would need an event owner to organise depature time and a print out of route and stopping points.

Drive through Royal National Park, Freeway to Macquire Pass National Park (Albion Park) through Moss Vale, Bundanoon (Coffee stop at Yee Old Bicycle Cafe) Through Wingello, On to freeway, Goulburn etc. Arrive Wakefield around 12 noon.

Depart Sydney on freeway at own time

I could be up for this. However, from my house Olympic Park is a very big detour to get to the Royal National Park. I'd be keen to meet instead at the little car park just before the entry to the Royal - lots of car clubs seem to meet up here for group drives.

Sure, if there are people interested all exchange notes on where to meet, I just put together a route. I am leaving at 5am and taking the freeway with the car and trailer.

Hmmm, I will be at Wakefield on the 18th doing a track school day. Will be testing a HSV Clubsport Improved Production car.

    Russ,

Nice idea. Thats a pretty long drive. At least 6 hours plus. Are you planning on driving at wakefield and driving home?

Yes, I am going down on Sunday morning, departing coffee in hand at 5am. Arriving around 7 - 7.30am. Event is 9am so plenty of time. I believe we get around 5 / 6 sessions of 4 - 5 laps. Its only a test session for me.

OK. I get it. Re read the original post.

You will already be down there and everybody else will follow.

Why not organise a day for people to drive at wakefield and leave with you at 5am?

I would be keen if I was not working!

    AH.....

Cause people can drive at Wakefield (Our Other places) pretty much anytime they like.

    -Join a club
    - Prepare a car (any car)
    - Enter an event, trackday or drive school
    - Go fast, have fun and enjoy.

Its all out there folks, available for anybody to do it, events are on pretty much every week.
