The recent unfortunate carry on in Bali has resulted in some "shut the gate etc" assistance from our government.
The QC's who've offered their assistance, Percy and Trowell? have given me a thin thread into a Simca yarn.

The first mentioned, Tom Percy is a Kalgoorlie lad, his father was Ted Percy who unfortunately lost his life in a gliding accident. His mother was Joan Percy. Both parents were mine hosts of the Federal Hotel in Kalgoorlie for a number of years.
Mrs Joan Percy could be seen driving around town in her Simca Beaulieu. If I remember it was a two tone blue. A rare vehicle in those parts among the Holdens and Zephyrs. Hoteliers and bookmakers back then usually chose Customlines and big Chevs. Illegal gold dealers had a similar choice.
