I'm posting this on behalf of Arthur Lewis, a well known (retired) Brisbane mechanic who specialised in french cars. Arthurs collection of slowly decaying parts cars has to go. This is a one time, small window (2 weeks only) of opportunity to lay claim to anything that you might see here. Arthur wants to dispose of the junk with a clear conscience that he is not disposing of parts that somebody might want. Anything you see in the pictures will be sold at very low prices. Arthur also has a collection of good used (and just a few new) parts and panels in his shed - mostly to suit similar era cars as those in the photos.

Call Arthur on 0402 291 383 to find out if he has what you want. Please, no calls saying 'What have you got'. Be specific and ask for what you need. Arthur has a good recolection of the stuff that is lying around. Prices and delivery timeframes are negoitable - and he would prefer if you arranged to come and pick the parts yourself if possible. Anything not claimed in the next couple of weeks will be going to the metal recyclers.

What follows is based on my in-expert knowledge of what I saw. Please excuse me if I mis-lead anyone.

Peugeot 203.
Boot lids, bonnets, grill?, rear axles.

Peugeot 403.
Early car with lever dampers. Was low mileage. Body very rusty. No motor or steering rack. Good gearbox, axles, suspension and trim parts.

Peugeot 505.
Don't believe the badge. Petrol motor - not turbo diesel. Was driven into this position only a few weeks ago.

Citroen CX.
Was a great car but hydraulics were contaminated by truck wash. Has a great 2500 EFI motor and auto. Apparently went exceptionally well. Most underbonnet parts available. Bosh universal alterantor modified to fit in place of the original. 3 good doors, boot lid, glass and suspension parts. Rear air-con unit gone. I have claimed the tow bar and steering rack.

Citroen DS
Hull and parts from 2 cars. Neither worth restoring but a maybe good source for the remaining body parts, doors, glass, some mechanicals.

There is a lot of stuff here. Much of it is fit only for recycling - but there could just be some gems amongst it. Please call Arthur and ask for what you need. That phone number again 0402 291 383.
