can anyone help me with this one? i'm the proud owner of a 1955 build slough az 2cv and looking to find the twin chevron badges off the grille. a bit of a tall ask here in australia but just maybe someone might have something. would'nt worry me if it was the earlier type badge off the pre-1954 with the oval around the chevrons, just need something to go on those grille bars to give it some identity and liven it up a bit. any help appreciated, regards glenn shaw.

Hi Glen,

David Gries in Melbourne could be a good start?? It could be worth joining the 2cv list at yahoogroups and shooting a message off there as well (and wait for the inundation --That's a hell of a busy list!).

hello shane, thanks for the reply and suggestion. boris actually spent a month or so at david gries' getting a few jobs done such as a dynamo and regulator rebuild before i picked it up to come home to deepest darkest tasmania. i pretty much spent a day and 1/2 with him and had a ball observing, learning and laughing with him- great guy. unfortunately he did'nt have any early az grille chevrons but i'll keep looking, something is bound to turn up sooner or later. hoping to import the original rh/lh floor panels and toeboard from ecas in the near future (when i can afford to do it!) thanks again, glenn.
