It's time to eat again, been back downunder for three weeks, time to put my organiser hat on again. Seems in my absence, not too much happened in the world of Aussiefrogs events, especially in Melbourne, arguably Aussiefrogs' most active clan.
This time, lets just eat. Forget about fun driving this time, after all, anyone that buys a 307 wouldn't have any bloody idea about that anyway
Lets just go and eat.
Looking at the Aussie, in Aussiefrogs, it's hard to pin down what is real Australian food (lets face it, Kangaroo is hardly staple fare, Meat Pies are basically English, meat and three veg is so damn generic it could come from anywhere, the Kiwis fight over who invented Pavlova and it's hardly a meal anyway).
So, I'm suggesting a Chicken Parmigiana night. Sure there are Italian origins somewhere, but it's bloody well easier to find in Australia than Italy Plus, after seeing the popularity of Parma at today's drive, I'm confident I'll show you a much better one
When: How's Tuesday, August 30th 2005 sound? Meeting at 7PM.
Where: Palmerston Hotel, 51 Palmerston Cr, South Melbourne.
What: Parma, otherwise there are plenty of things on the menu

The venue is regarded as having Melbourne's best parma, and some would say Melbourne has Australia's best food

Discovered the site quite some time ago when it was featured in Epicure. Actually, the pizza place we went to a few events ago was also inspired by Epicure. Yes, Epicure had some part in choosing Tiamo too
