i know of one for sale and it is as far as i know in very good condition

as far as i know it has black leather interior in good/excellent condition and the car is silver in colour

it has the rubber spoiler on the rear and the car is very well maintained

this bloke is a citroen nut that has the car and would like to see it go to a good home

i have seen this car a couple of times and it is a very nice example and nothing has ever been spared on keeping it running the way a car like this should
 
more info to hand

car has cloth interior not leather

has new discs up front and rear arms bearings have all been done on the car

it has a new A/C system in the car

it has a new clutch, new belts, new water pump and a pioneer CD player

it has alloy wheels on it with near new tyres and it comes with the original metric wheels and tyres

mechanically A1
cosmetically B+

car has covered around 80k miles and is an 88 model

after having a bit of a chat about it there is some torque bar in the engine bay :confused: well that has been replaced as well

the car has been fanatically maintained and is only bieng sold due to wifey rules :roflmao:

asking price is $14k O.N.O
 
Let me help out a little:

"torque bar" == Top engine mount (the bushes in them break up)

A CX2500 GTi Turbo II has the following:

-2.5 litre petrol engine that's intercooled and turbo charged.
-Cloth interior is the "Chevron" VIP interior. It is black and white has a pattern that is a series of chevrons (upside down 'V's).
-two electric mirrors
-trip computer with heaps of complex functions you'll never use.
-full intrumentation: oil pressure, oil temp, oil level, water temp, tach and boost level.
-electric windows x 4, drivers is a one touch up 'n' down.
-electric sunroof
-Series II body with plastic wrap-around bumpers
-climate control heating/cooling (the heating will work really well)

I think I might even have a photo of this car from Maleny. Is this it attached ??

i don't think that is the car but it looks very similar

the car has NSW rego on it and this bloke bought it in June 03

i'll try and get him to send a pic through
 
June 03 ....

He didn't buy it at the easter Cit-in did he ... (or just after)

more details on the car

when bought in June 2003 it needed new tyres and rear suspension arm bearings and a complete new A/C unit and this work has been done to the car

It had new brake discs and a new clutch fitted at 70K miles jsut before the purchase

since owning the car it has had

New drive belts
new internal fan blower
2nd hand rear window louvre
new water pump and spark plugs
new torque bar top engine attachment
Top quality Pioneer CD/radio with removeable front

The tyres were michelin on alloys and the metric tyres are still on the metric mags

I would describe the car now as mechanically A1 and cosmetically B+. It is a superb long distance tourer, a true GT, with addictive power- something I have found a revelation as a long term Citroen, Peugeot and renault owner. It is only for sale under wifely instructions to rationalise - or it is rations!!
