Looks nice-appears to be the same colour as the car a mate of mine has picked up for one of his daughters-I reckon it is a rather impressive colour-do you know what it is called.
Only serious thing I can see is that see is that someone put the steering wheel on the L.H.S.!!!!!
I was under the impression that cars over you way were R.H. drive.

Enjoy.

Your wrong Pete, For once in your life your wrong. Ask the exporters, the only parts they don't send are the dash, firewall and steering rack.

Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Zimbabwe plus ? have RHD, the rest of Africa is LHD.

Me too!!

That's amazing Ikenna - I also bought a manual V6 D9 406 yesterday!! Higher km (235,000), but also in excellent condition. Timing belt was done at 200,000 km, so in theory nothing to spend for 100,000 km!

Foxes aren't too popular over here (they are not native, and kill a lot of native wildlife), so I prefer to think of my smaller cat as a leopard or cheetah:).

Cheers

@ Alec, What a coincidence. Congrats too! We named 406 "Fox" here in Nigeria. 4=F; 0=O; 6=X. Funny enough, if you really look at D9 406, it has Fox looks. Lol! Mine has Daytime Running Light and it gives the car amazing look. My problem is that I don't have the car history to know when last the timing belt was changed, if it has been changed. And the mileage is 168,678. Am a bit concerned because I don't think I can afford to replace the belt now. Well, lets see how it goes.

Hopefully it was done @ 100m.-so would be then safe till 200,000 miles.
Should it has not been done & it breaks it will be much much more.
'Wishin & Hoping".
Pekay.

Congrats Ikenna
It looks very nice.
Why don't you make a detailed comparison between the 3 V6s ? :wink2:

I went back to the car dealer yesterday to pick the custom papers, only to be given also the car History/Log book, manuals and receipts of all services carried out on the car by the previous owner. Unfortunately, the whole papers are in German. Please, does any understand German here? Attached are some of the papers. I just want to know if any of them showed that the Timing belt has been replaced and at what mileage.
