Sydney Northern Beaches Coffee Meet March 17th 2013

Time: 9:00 am for coffee or brunch

As before, just a chance for any Aussie Frogs members to get together for a chat and a glimpse of other peoples French cars. All welcome, both locals and others.

The event will be on the Citroen Car Club NSW calendar for those with club plates.

The Boatshed Cafe (formerly "Blowfish") is on the shores of Narrabeen Lake, western end of Narrabeen Street, Narrabeen. There is a large carpark at the side and rear of the venue, just drive to the end of Narrabeen Street and turn left up the driveway between the trees.

Closer to the date please give me an idea of numbers coming so we can book a table with water views.

Good to see so many at Jo's BBQ today despite the weather! Hope we can expect a good roll up March 17th.

This event is coming up in ten days... I will need to ask for numbers by early next week so that I can book a table.

A reminder that it is on the Citroen CC NSW event calendar so suitable for club plated vehicles.

9:00 am tomorrow morning (Sunday 16th March) for all who are coming. There is probably room for a few more than have notified me already, so call if you can or just turn up.

The Chevrons (CCCNSW magazine) lists as 10am and I have noticed in the past that Peugeot owners like to sleep in on Sunday mornings too!

Thanks Les. You have to admit I did an excellent job on both the location and the weather! Good to see the table filled again, though it would seem that in fact it is the Citroen drivers who are not comfortable with the notion of Sunday mornings.

If you think the waitress accent is interesting you should try to have a phone conversation with her. For some reason the management get her to call to confirm booking! Very hard to understand.

Any votes for the location/date for the next one??

I'd highly recommend Grey Gum's cafe and not just because I roast their coffee (Morgan's Handcrafted Coffee)

Problem with early morning squirts, is all the early morning squirts on their damn bikes doing 15km/h up the hill and hogging the road.

Mind you, siting patiently behind them at redline in 1st gear usually sorts that little issue out.

Takes just over an hour and a half from our Roastery in Penrith - it is a fun windy road out through national park.
