We are working on the current stable version of vBulletin.
It will be nice to have everything working unlike the last version.

I've editted the templates to allow member numbers which is not normally available.

Having the test board made this upgrade so much easier. I was able to edit the templates last night & tonight, download them, upgrade this board, then upload the template from the test one.

Still a few things to tweak but I think it's a hell of a lot better than the last one (which was pretty good anyway).

Maybe some if the files have different cache names (so slower at first) .. but yes it does seem a little slower loading up a page with lots of replies. Not complaining or anything .. love the work.

Just missing the link at the bottom of a thread that allows you to go back to the subforum area eg you could click back to the Froggy Chat area at the bottom of a post.

Otherwise looking fine.

Colours on pop up menus are wrong & difficult to read. I will get to this another night ;)

Speed is due to the database server. The page generation is on a different server & is running well. As previously mentioned, the MYSQL database server is very low on memory (probably very fragmented too). When trying a server side backup, the server stops at 400k & waits for some memory space or cache to the server harddrive. Not sure what we can do as it's a hardware issue & we are on a privelidge account. Goes to show how much we have grown recently.

The profile picture can be 250 X 250 if you desire as there are no constraints with table width. It is intended to be used for mug shots (look at mine for eg), however do with it as you please, keeping a 'G' rating please :D

The jump or link thingy down the bottom has no option on this version  I usually click back button. Duplication of the above forum tree to the bottom would be OK?
Pretty sure I could do this.

Happy to have the member numbers back :approve:

Just a question...how come you're now member #1 ? Weren't you #2?
................and isn't there a Pug 405 missing out of your signature?? Did I miss something

Alan S :mallet:

I have been #1 for a while now.
When we moved from UBB to vBulletin, the administrator had to be member number 1 which moved AUS-CITY to #2 when I imported all the UBB data across.

The 405 now belongs to user "newpug". We are slowly getting used to not owning it anymore, just wish the Berlingo had an Mi16 engine in it so it could actually pass something :snail:

glad to see the car went to a pug nut

i went to #36 at the same time where i used to be #41

i take it back when the upgrade to V bulletin happened members numbers adjusted themselves around some deletion of members no longer with us

Sorry the new owner is "newfrog".

I assume for you to drop back a few there were some gaps due to deleted users. When I was moving us across it tried to make me member #1 & #3 at the same time, I was prompted about these queries as they arose.

I love it its very nice and verly slick -admin another great job. "now time to get clicking on all these new bits".......hehehe:afplak:
