Default Fuego GTR Concept

I don't frequent the Renault forum much so apologies if this is a repost...

Most of the info about it seems to be in Spanish. The following is translated from Spanish:
"This is another of those designs at all official and personal. Lucas Lopez, designers specializing in automobiles has created a recreation of what could be the Renault Fuego if he had released a new version in 2000. Although it is a very subjective interpretation of modern forms it is certain that maintains that smack of "Fire" French.
The Renault Fuego was a three-door coupe and four-seater that occurred in Europe during the years 1980 and 1987. It was based directly on the Renault 18 sedan that borrowed the platform and mechanical front-wheel drive including a diesel engine. For his sportsmanship emphasized two versions, the GTA with a 2.2 liter gasoline engine and 116 hp and ATM Max with another 2.2-liter 123 hp. The latter was able to travel 1,000 meters in 31 seconds.

The front of the Renault 18 and the characteristic drop of the gate at the rear are distinctive features that the author of Fire GTR Concept, recreation at hand, has tried to maintain. Its maximum has been to opt for remodeling as was done in the mid-90s and therefore his work incorporates a more rectangular front lights. It emphasizes the elimination of B-pillar and the large size of C as being less offenders.
The truth is that the author thinks the fire is already in some way present in our time through the Laguna Coupe. It is obviously a very advanced model with features and powerful trade powers through which equips the V6."

You can see alot of the original fuego in this design exercise, the wheels, the side rear windows, the door hand (or lack of), the way you body crease goes over the wheel arches, even the lines in the rear indicators!
But the front!......It reminds me of an R21!
It would have been nice to see it in production.
Thanks John.
