    This does allow you to set up fuses properly, rare in an R8... Oops, forgot your earlier post. Fuses AND relays. Very nice.

    Yes, I'd definitely open the vents on the bonnet. You might consider whether you want to make a hole and put neat but coarse mesh over the hole rather than trying to reproduce the slotting though.
