Default The Proper use for an Ipod

First you rip the ends out so you can get a start with the tin snips.

Then you get it on the anvil and spread it a bit so you can gouge out all that electronic shit.

After that you can cut the case open .

    And hammer it flat.

Then it is a useful piece of aluminium sheet that can be used for making clips for holding on yer trim.

It cuts nicely wiv the jewellers saw.

    Bends nicely in the vice.

So it's just the perfect thing.

    Fer fixing yer trim

    Wot's FOC then?

Nah mate, this is wot you call recycling. In July myself and the missus had an unfortunate meeting with too much water in a creek crossing, and ended up rolling the Hilux and coming to rest upside down fully submerged.
This poor little Ipod was a fellow traveller and was under water overnight in the glovebox before I returned to drag the beastie from the deluge the next morning.
I was reliably informed that the partly eaten apple company does not warranty water casualties and I would have expected this from such a cynical marketing enterprise.
Thus I have found the most valuable part of this bad Ipod and made good use of it.

    Cheers.

They may have exchanged it if it was still working. They used to like little examples of how their products survived major mishaps.

Sorry, forgot the most important, are you both OK?
    regards,
    Les W.

    G'day,
that comes from owning French cars, otherwise that's good to hear.
My little finger is due to Dupuytren's contracture, the Viking's disease.
    regards,
    Les W.

    FOC = Free of Charge.
If you google ipod exchange, there was a story just recently where Apple were "recalling" early ipod's due to exploding battery potential, and offering customers a new one in exchange - but I'd suggest it's too late now for you!

Aw gee, why didn't you tell me before I cut it up then?

FOC. [I thought that was a polite internet way of saying that other word.]

But seriously it was given to me by a bloke who was managing a pub and found it left there and not claimed for a month, so no purchase documents and actually 2gb wasn't that great for music. Plus I hate Itunes, it is such a stupid program, or I'm too stupid to make it work for me.
Much prefer to have folders with albums and be able to pick which album I want. Itunes just loaded my whole collection in alphabetical song titles and I couldn't use it that way.

No really much better value as dashboard clips.

Good Match. I rate fripperies such as the ipod in the same category as those poofy bright bits on 203 sedan dashes! Thankfully, my 203 wagon is free of such unnecessary so-called luxury touches We hair shirt wearers also do without an ashtray, trip meter, trafficator light and arm rests. Long live austerity!

Tell us wot the dead 203 you are wanting is for then.

Not a historical resto we can be sure of that.

    203 + 306GTi-6 = 509.

If I do it, (and it's a very big if) it'll be my final act of butchery. I'm getting too old for rolling about on a cold garage floor.
