I am replacing all of the side window seals on my 76 year model. The ravages of close to seaside and I suspect general over exposure to ultraviolet light have reduced the window seals to very hard and cracked examples.

I have found new replacements which I believe are originally sourced from Scotts. I suspect they may be EPDM synthetic rubber which means that they are difficult to glue. Being keen on Sikaflex products I have narrowed my choice to either of 11FC, 227, 252 or 260 with my present preference being 11 FC, being the most flexible. Is there anyone out there who can provide some advice on the the subject.

PS I have tried an industrial contact adhesive marketed by APV Baker, a UK supplier. Didn't work!
