    Default DS spacers / brackets?

    Hi Gents,

I found these two brackets in the boot of my car. Can anyone identify where they belong? They are about 3cm x 2cm in size

I had wondered whether they might be from the other end of the car, and be spacers that sit under the aluminium cross brace that the spare wheel sits on. But they seem to be a different design in terms of holes/ slots.

In the end, my best guess is that they are parts of the little brackets that holds the top lip of a rear wing onto the rain gutter. In the top corners of the boot aperture - where the bottom end of the boot spring locates into a little lug, you will find hooked brackets on the side gutters. i think the bits you have, go under the wheel arch with the hooked brackets being bolted down from above either into those parts (are they threaded?) or that they act as a kind of washer for a nut? Worth exploring and ruling out anyhow!

BTW. If my suggestion turns to to be wrong, you might have more luck (more replies) by posting instead on the more general Citroen forum - rather than the restoration forum.
