Have bought this car a few months ago and now finally, as of last week, brought home the last of the parts that came as part of the deal.

The Dťesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Dťesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.

I made the attachments using my computer.
On my phone now and I can't see them either.
I guess I'll have to try again later when back home.

    Default The story so far.

Great. So now some info. Bought this project car as I only recently became aware that PSA had stopped production of the hydropneumatic suspension cars.
The thought set my heart racing with fond memories of my previous Citroens and then I decided I needed to own another D before I'm done.
So, this led to a bit of shopping around and then because I had to go to Canberra for family reasons, I decided to have a look at this car that was for sale on Gumtree.
I wasn't too committed to the idea of a project but then when I saw it I recognised what I think/hope are 'good bones'. THen very surprisingly my wife said "why don't you buy it?", and this project was born.
I was aware that I was getting a fair supply of parts with the car and then as it and (some of) the parts were delivered I realised that I was getting into a whole new level of Citroen ownership.
Since taking delivery I have been doing a lot of reading/research to understand what I really have and how to go about what I plan to do.
In the end the biggest thing I have learnt is that I will need to make lots of links with Citroen people to find what I need both in terms of knowledge and missing bits and pieces.
I hope that some of the (many) duplicate parts may be of use to others.
I really will need to do a stocktake and make a list so others know what I have.
For a start though, I have discovered, by visiting Shane in Ballarat, that the front guards I have are from a 1st nose car.
He was able to help me with some 2nd nose front guards in quite useable condition.
So now I have two front 1st nose guards, in seemingly original condition, one a bit better than the other, that I can make available.

    Looking forward to others feedback.

Unfortunately I have been flat out with many projects lately, but I hope to show the new second nose guards and bumper in place soon.
