Yeah, but for tensile stuff, that's still double the price of any industrial fasteners store. Useful if it's the weekend, but otherwise a ripoff.
I was in Master's last weekend. Busiest I've ever seen them, but still not lots of buying going on.

Masters are having a " Dick Smith type" Sale.

10%- 30% off prices already 200% more expensive that they should be.

I won't waste my time again.

Let them keep the stock and sell it to the trade at sensible price.

There is a huge mark up on fasteners by retail stores.

billion times cheaper that 1 Champion branded bolt you buy when you're desperate from Supercheap/Repco

    Icon14 Bargain hunting. Cheapskates unite.

Over the years I have bought bulk bolts nuts and washers in quantities, but these days. Yep best place to buy all sorts of bolts and screws is either at my pet charity shops or a Tipshop -

Good quality bulk stuff "that might come in handy, seems to go for a couple of dollars maybe $6 for a large box - only thing is the contents are already pre tumbled into mixed sizes nails screws and fittings etcetera.

From one lot worth a few dollars I sorted and priced at Masters, the main stuff was worth over $100 IF you bought the bolts and fittings there. Surprising what tradies throw out!!
