Default CitroŽn 1974 DS 23ie pallas

    Hi all
I think it's about time to introduce myself and my new project. My name is Taylor and traditionally I've always worked on Mercedes from the fifties to the late seventies but I've always wanted a Citroen DS and I finally found one. I am planning to do a full Restorations this coming December which probably means December next year as life always seems to get in the way but nevertheless it's on my agenda. I will try to keep you all up to date with my progress and the constant struggle to locate parts and fabricate. I will put up photos of the car in its current state and also some of my other projects which I must get done. Also any advice and parts would be greatly appreciated.

    The car is currently running

Hi Taylor, welcome to Aussie Frogs and congratulations on the DS. Looking forward to seeing the pics and more details of your car. There will be a wealth of helpful advice here, just ask.

    Where in Australia are you?

    Mernda? Never heard of it

Anyway, knowing where you are often helps others give you advice re parts and other info. The Victorians are pretty helpful!

-image.jpg Welcome to the forum Taylor. AF contributors made my introduction to DS ownership far, far less painful and expensive than it otherwise would have been. Cheers.

That's cool ... It would still be interesting to see it. You should see what rolls royce did to the very simple citroen hydraulics
