I went to upgrade my account so photobucket would enable 3rd party hosting and they want US$400 annually to do it.

I'll have to find another host and edit the posts.

I think Cam and Pat only have the wiring left to do.

Is that all? I expect that can be stretched out to at least another year, like all things race car. (I'm as guilty as the next guy).

Seems like that wiring turned out to be very complicated.

It would be fantastic to see the photos if you have time to figure out how to share them? Or a direct link to your photobucket album rather than embedded photos. ? Cheers.

After a very hectic past year for both Pat and I we are almost on track.

Ill work something out with the photos. Huw has most of them so see what he can do.

Great read and look forward to seeing the car turn a wheel in anger at some point!

As mentioned by others, would be good to see the photos that Photobucket have so kindly blocked.

The car did look good when I saw it last at AFCD back in 2016...

There's a browser extension you can get that solves most of the photobucket issue I think. I must have installed it, cos they're working for me.

Very interesting! What browser are you using, and do you know the name of the extension?

This comment doesn't make much sense... Autocorrect fail?

This comment was very helpful, thanks! I've hardly ever used any browser extensions, so didn't even think to look for one that might solve this issue.

Nope, just wanted to be a little less than blunt and maybe attract ire from the company? So if you translate

    Photobucket Hotlink 1.3.26
As Firefox tells me : Extension to fix the hotlinking issue in Photobucket, It's not needed to pay with this extension, the images will continue loading.

I swapped from Photobucket to Tinypic & reuploaded the pics in the Tacho mod thread only to find out a month later than Photobucket owns Tinypic and are pulling the same stunt with them. Will find a suitable 3rd party host and reupload when I have time.

OK, now that I re-read the post I can see what you were trying to say. Things don't always come across so clearly in writing

I received an email today to say that Photobucket is under new management which is un-shafting it's users and restoring their pre-payment days photos for third party hosting. They are also charging a more modest $20 per year rather than $400 per year.

All pics I've posted should be back up, and we can once again enjoy the build threads.
