    Default R8 restoration project

We have moved house after 28 years and the R8G Replica is on her way to a new home ...first time on wheels for 3 years albeit with a temporary rear axle and Holden wheels.Could be in mothballs for a while until the workshop is organised.I've learned with any project never to set a target date! The tyres look great! Too bad they wont match the era of the car.

I guess it'll be a while before any more wok happens on the car. Settling in to a new home creates other priorities for quite a time after.

You are right about the priorities Gerry! At the present time the R8 is about as close to the bottom of the list as is possible.Re the wheels...there's a nice set of 13"Image Wheels alloys safely tucked away in padded boxes awaiting their day.
