    Default long weekend restoration activity

Hey you restorers out there. I am hoping to have some updates on progress after the long weekend. There is no excuse. Get out to the garage now.

Well Deese I been out in the shed, cleaned the florescent tubes in the lights so I can see what I'm doing, and also did a little towards the gearbox that I'm rebuilding.

Just out of interest what did you do in your shed this weekend??

I got the D out and took it to Kiama for a carshow on Saturday then on Sunday we actually cleaned the other side of the shed so that we can make some sense of it. Hard rubbish day this week so a fair deal was hoiked out.

Friday I started the long task of a resto of my collision damaged panels, got some grinding slag in my eye so by the next day the eyeball got rust rings. Went to the hospital to get it removed and have spent the last 2 days in a dark cave away from the irritating smoke pollution licking my wounds in decent amount of discomfort.

I got my SM out and as there is nothing that needs doing took it out for a drive. Does it sound like I'm gloating?
No really I am just frustrated that there have been no juicy updates to read lately.
