    Default 17TS engine...tech query

My engine builder wants to know what the 'Rocker Ratio' is on my 17TS/12Gordini engine. Can anyone advise where I can find this information. Maybe in a Workshop Manual, but I don't have one....
    Cheers,
    Mark.

I'm sure it will be corrected if wrong, but fuzzy memory tells me it is 1.5:1, from the Renault competition manual, I'll check it later on.

Yes, 1.5 to 1 is correct. Generally I have found that there is minimal gain and plenty of cam problems beyond 440 thou lift, although nice new Mecaparts cams may not fall apart like regrinds and built up cams.

Please, for your own sake and your wallet read the stuff which has been posted in Frans' threads on the Alpine. You will save a lot of grief.
