    Default Fuego Octopus

Hi Guys hoping you very knowledgeable fuego owners can answer the following.
Every Fuego ive seen as a different set up re the octopus hoses. Some removered others blocked with screws or bolts, others cut with a ball bearing stuffed in side. can someone please suggest the best configereation. (i understand and agree that keeping as original is best). I cant seem to find any details in haines, auto data or the aussie update.

The best configuration is the R21.
None of that nonsense like oxygen injection to the exhaust etc..... just a simple fixed orrifice PCV and a carbon can for petrol fumes, and thats it.

I have 2 in the untouched original factory configuration if you want some photos, although given the number of hoses that may not help much.

    85 Feugo x2
    83 Fuego (stored parts car)

What's this Carbon Can you speak of?

I'm currently trying to tidy up the engine bay on my car so that things look a little more OEM... and then I look at the OEM

It's like they had a pile of all the stuff that needed to be there, and then they threw it at the engine bay from 10 meters away.

It's no wonder Renault never sold the Turbo in Aus. can you imagine the A/C equipped Australian Emission compliant model?

I was taking the piss at the complexity of the carb set up and contrasting it with the simplest modern system i've ever seen, the r21
The r21 is multipoint EFI, so its a different beast realy.
