Nice, but why is it called a business saloon sedan?

I thought that version was the poverty pack. No front wind down windows, front seats less substantial, no steering column surround/shroud etc ? It's quite a late body with no pop up vent in front centre of windscreen & no horn grille at lower centre of front wings behind front bumper
    cheers,

    John

Quite good cars are usually available through the 4CV Register in Australia for around $6000, and don't require shipping and import costs. Of course a restoration doing most of the work yourself can easily cost more than $6000.

I really love the colour! A 4CV was my first car as an 18 year old in Amsterdam. Bought it in the dark and it was rotten but it went like the clappers and went through 2 litres of oil a week! Wouldn't mind one now.

Doesn't look like an "affairs" model to me unless it has been upgraded a bit (chrome strip along door bottom for example).

In France they regard the wind up front windows as "export doors" so we got 'affairs' models in Australia but they had wind up windows.

    Nice looking 4CV isn't it.

I'd love to be in a position to buy another 4CV Colin, and if I was, I would have already bought Kermit the fine machine. But for now, I just love seeing nice early Renaults and if I find nice ones for sale, I figure why not let fellow Froggers know about it too so they too can drool !
By the way, good luck selling Kermit Colin, but I suspect you may live to regret it when Kermit drives off into the sun set with some one else at the helm ! I actually cried when I sold my 4CV but don't tell anyone I said that
    cheers,

    John
