    Default R 10 Oil Sender Unit & Fire Wall Fire Blanket

    Hi,
    I am looking for an oile sender unit and a fire blanket for my 10. Can anyone suggest who can supply them (replica)

    Hi Geoff,
    One option you have is to fit an electronic oil pressure gauge which will come complete with a new sender unit. Then again there are many who have done this and I'm sure some of them will now have a surplus sender unit.

    By Firewall blanket, do you mean the insulation on the petrol tank side of the black panel separating it from the engine compartment?

    I just used some self-adhesive rubberised insulation obtained from Spectrum rubber (or maybe Grippy rubber products in Rydalmere/silverwater?). You can get that from some places on line also.

    If you mean behind and underneath the rear seat, I bought some fabric insulation from a trimming supplies place and used 3M spray adhesive to stick it on from memory.
